Job Description

The Director partners with the client to develop financial strategy and directs the work of the delivery team to execute on it. They identify new opportunities for account augmentation and serve as the main point of contact and liaison between the client and delivery team. The Director will provide accounting advisory services, which includes but not limited to audit readiness, IPO readiness, technical accounting, and operational accounting. This individual will contribute to the strategic direction, innovation, and growth of the firm.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to E78's methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and best practices in the financial advisory industry, and provide thought leadership and insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the delivery team, and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and client satisfaction.
  • Support leadership with business development in scoping, proposing, and closing new projects and expanding existing accounts.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions to clients on various financial topics.
  • Lead and coach the project team and provide performance evaluation and feedback.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for cross-selling and repeat business.
  • Participate in practice management activities, such as recruitment, training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • CPA license
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in financial consulting, advisory, or related services in a Big Four Audit, National Accounting, Management Consulting, or Professional Services firm with a minimum of 2 years in a Director level role.
  • A proven track record of client delivery achievement, project management, and supervision.
  • Prior successful experience as a CFO or VP of Finance is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex and large data sets.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, and accounting principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with financial software, such as Power BI and Adaptive is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Compensation:
  • The base salary range is $180,000 - $250,000, plus bonus and will be based on experience.
